OUR MISSION

Knowing Christ and Making Him Known

That is our mission! Though it is not easy, it is what we strive for daily.

WHAT WE DO

Flemingsburg Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. Our Church adheers to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 for our beliefs. We love sharing the Gospel and serving others. Our messages are Bible-based and our music is a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian. We have both a Choir and a Praise Team. We serve our community by meeting the needs of others through missions such as God’s Pantry food distribution, Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) activities, preparing and delivering Homebound Meals, and operating a Teen Center in downtown Flemingsburg which is open Monday through Thursday from 3:30-5:30. We generally have around 100 people, young and old, in attendance for our Sunday morning Worship Service. We also meet on Wednesday evenings. We would love for you to come as you are and join us!

OUR CHURCH FAMILY

Our Church Family is just that…FAMILY! The bulk of our congregation is over 35 in age but we have toddlers through great grandparents! We love to worship together, fellowship and serve together, and even travel and garden together!  We are located in a rural community, but we represent all walks of life. We enjoy participating in community events in everything from supporting our local schools’ sporting events to hosting community organizations at our church. We have Sunday School every Sunday morning for all ages and even have an off-campus class at our local welding institute to meet the needs of students from all over the country. We encourage and invite you to become a part of our family.
